Salt Lake City, UT - On a night when
Taylor Miller scored 31 points, he and the Westminster Men's Basketball team continued their winning streak at home 89-77 over Regis.
Griffins won their fourth straight game and fifth win over their last six games, where three different players scored in double-figures.
Westminster outscored the Rangers 55-45 in the second half of play.Though having made fewer three-point shots and free throws, it was the points in the paint that was the difference in the game. The Griffins ended the night shooting 66 percent with 48 pointsin the pain to seal the victory.
The Griffins, stand at in sixth place in the conference standings, are increasing their chances to play in the RMAC tournament with five games to go in the regular season.
Trey Farrer ended his night with 22 points and six rebounds and
Donaval Avila was the third scorer in the double-figures with 12 points.
