Grand Junction, CO - Last time these two teams met in Salt Lake City, it was the Westminster Men's Basketball team who came away with the home win, but this time in Colorado, it was the Mavericks who evened up the season series 92-68.
Halfway through the first half, the Griffins evened the score up at 17-17, but that was the last time the game would be within reach for Westminster as Colorado Mesa found a way to rally the rest of the half 43-32.
Taylor Miller was the leading scorer on the night for the Griffins who totaled 13 points and six assists and Trey
Farrer ended the night with 10 points and six rebounds in the loss.
The Griffins had a hard time stopping the Mavericks from knocking down threes, as they made 15 3-pointers as a team.
Westminster will close out the 2022-23 RMAC regular season at Western Colorado on Friday night, tipping off at 7:30 p.m.
