Grand Junction, CO - In the RMAC Tournament Semi-finals, the Westminster Griffins women's soccer team faced off against the Colorado Mesa Mavericks in Grand Junction, Colorado. The Mavericks got off to a quick start, with Mikayla Eccher finding the back of the net just two minutes into the game, putting the Griffins on the back foot. Nine minutes later, Kylie Wells added another goal for Colorado Mesa, extending their lead to 2-0.
Despite their best efforts, the Griffins struggled to break through the Mavericks' defense. They managed a total of 11 shots, with three on target, but couldn't find the back of the net. In the end, the game concluded with a 3-0 loss for the Griffins, marking the end of their season.
Colorado Mesa advanced to the tournament finals, where they will face off against Colorado School of Mines. Fans can catch the championship game on the RMAC Network.
