Ellensburg, WA - In the second game of their Washington series, the Westminster Men's Basketball team faced the Central Washington University squad. Despite a valiant effort, the Griffins couldn't overcome the home team, resulting in an 84-65 defeat.

Rylan O'Brien for the Griffins, had a great performance as the game's leading scorer with 21 points. O'Brien's offensive prowess was complemented by Chase Potter, who contributed 14 points, building on his impressive weekend performance.Trey Wood was the third player in double-digits on the stat sheet as the game concluded adding 13 points in his playing time on the floor.

As the team heads back to Westminster University, they'll regroup for the upcoming Thanksgiving weekend games. UCCS vs. Navajo Tech will kick off the holiday weekend on Friday at 2:00 PM, followed by the Griffins taking on Justice College.
