Salt Lake City, UT - Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced today the cancelation of the scheduled RMAC women's soccer game between Black Hills State University (BHSU) and Westminster, originally slated for Friday, October 27, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. This decision was made due to inclement weather and unsafe travel conditions in South Dakota, preventing the BHSU Women's Soccer team from making the bus trip to Salt Lake City.
While all parties involved explored various options for rescheduling, it was determined that rescheduling would be challenging. BHSU expressed their willingness to reschedule, but the only viable option would have required Westminster to play three games in four days. With the November 1st deadline to complete conference games looming, the decision was ultimately made not to reschedule the game, prioritizing the well-being of our student-athletes.
Consequently, the men's soccer game against Ft. Lewis College, originally scheduled for Friday, October 27th at 7:00 pm, has been rescheduled to kick off at 5:00 pm.
Senior Day for both teams is set for this Sunday, October 29th, with men's soccer hosting Adams State in a noon kickoff, followed by women's soccer facing Colorado Mines at 2:30 pm.
The RMAC Men's Soccer Tournament Quarterfinal will commence on Thursday, November 2nd, while the RMAC Women's Soccer Quarterfinal is scheduled for Sunday, November 5th. The highest seeds for both tournaments will serve as the host sites.
Tickets for all home games are available for purchase at WestminsterGriffins.com, and you can watch all of the conference games on the RMAC Network.
