Box Score Pueblo, CO - The Westminster Griffins men's soccer team secured a significant victory on the road, defeating the top team in the RMAC standings, Colorado State University Pueblo, with a final score of 2-0 on Thursday night. The game remained scoreless until the 61st minute when Landon Ward managed to find the back of the net, eluding Tristian Whitlock of the Thunderwolves with his well-placed shot. Following Ward's goal, James Miles extended the lead, using his right foot to guide the ball into the right side of the goal.

Roark Looney, got the start in goal and made three key saves to keep the scoreless shut-out from his end of the field. 

This win has propelled the Griffins up the RMAC standings. Next, Westminster University will be facing the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs on Sunday afternoon.
