Salt Lake City, UT - The Westminster Griffins Volleyball team returned to their home floor on Friday night, but despite their tremendous effort and a game that had its fair share of thrilling moments, it was Regis University that emerged victorious with a three-set win over the Griffins.
The Rangers took set one 25-19, 25-18 and 25-16 to capture the conference win in Salt Lake City, UT.
Throughout the match, the Griffins put up a strong fight, with notable performances by key players. Malinda Messner, alongside her teammate Claire Cook, led the team with seven kills each, showcasing their offensive skills. Josie Gerritsen played a pivotal role, tallying a team-high 13 assists, ensuring the Griffins maintained their offensive rhythm. On the defensive front, Abby Reardon was the standout, delivering an impressive performance with 16 digs.
