Salt Lake City, UT - Rae Falatea had a some big shots in the second half of the game as the Griffins were trailing late in the fourth quarter, but her 20 total points on the night helped the Griffins claw their way to victory in a 80-74 win over the Colorado Christian on Friday night in RMAC play from Utah.
It was at 2:54 left to play in the fourth quarter where the Cougars held a 69-67 lead over the Griffins, but that was the last night the Cougars saw the lead on the scoreboard as the Griffins defensive pressure picked up and some Falatea hitting five out of six threes on the night help spark the Griffins.
Westminster started the game with an early 10 point advantaged in the first quarter of way where they had their largest lead of the game 17-7, but a run by the Cougars quickly changed the as the led of the second half of action.
Ashley Greenwood had 18 points, seven rebounds and one assist in her 31 minutes of play where
Lyndzi Rich ended the night with 16 points, three assists and two rebounds in the win.
Margarita Satini was the fourth player in double figures in scoring on the night as she added seven assists and 11 points.

The Griffins will head back to Westminster College as the new year will begin with back-to-back home games, as it continues tomorrow night with a matchup with Chadron State College with tip-off at 5:00 PM inside Behnken Field House.
