Griffins fall to the NightHawks to complete the road trip

Nampa ID – The Westminster Griffins took on the NightHawks of Northwest Nazarene University on Saturday and they were defeated 2-1. 

The Griffins started the game fast and furious with the early goal by Kylee Morgan just six minutes into the game as the Griffins found themselves on top leading 1-0.

Nearly 20 minutes later the NightHawks were able to score the equalizer as Madison Grande made the game tied as both teams went into the locker room at halftime. 

A late goal in the second half was just enough for Northwest Nazarene University to secure their home victory as the Griffins ended their road trip in Idaho with 1-1 record as they head back to Salt Lake City, UT to prepare for their upcoming games.

UP NEXT: The preseason is now complete as the upcoming game are now RMAC teams and the first one up is the Metropolitan State University of Denver in Denver, CO on Sept. 15 as the action can be watched on the RMAC Network.
