Pomona, CA - The Westminster Griffins entered
Kellogg Stadium on Saturday night for their second game of the weekend in California, they faced one of the top five teams in the country as the
Cal Poly Pomona Broncos came away with a home field victory in 2-0 contest.
It was a scoreless game at halftime as both teams played a defensive 45 minutes in the first half.
The second half began with nearly 10 more minutes of 0-0 on the scoreboard until Mike Moser found the back of the net in the 53rd minute and six minutes later Moser scored the second goal of the game to help seal the win for the Broncos.
Noah Larkin played the full 90 minutes and had five big saves in the loss.
Up next for the Griffins they will head back to Salt Lake City, UT as they will host
Western Oregon University on Sept. 1 and then host a neutral site game between
Western Oregon University and an RMAC opponent in Colorado Mesa on Sept. 3.
Both games will be broadcasted on the RMAC Network.
