West Palm Beach, FL - The opening night game has come and gone as the Westminster Griffins found themselves leading at halftime, but a strong second half by the Palm Beach Atlantic University Seafish found a way to knock in two goals in the final minutes of play as Kendall Furrow even the score at one and Krysta Memis scored the game-winning goal in the 89
th minute.
Westminster College opened up with their first road contest of the year as
Cassidy Jackson found the back of the net for her first goal of the year right with
Alexa Maple on the assist.
Westminster had a total of eight corner kicks and had 10 shots in defeat.
Next up the road trip in Florida continues as Westminster will head to Boca Raton, FL for a match-up with Lynn University on Saturday, August 27 with kickoff at 11:00 A.M.
