Ashley Greenwood sunk the two-point bucket to give the Griffins the late lead, Regis came right down the floor and drew a foul that put Erin Fry at the line to send the game to overtime. She missed one of the two free throws and the Griffins found a way to squeeze by the Rangers on Friday night to capture the road conference win.
Greenwood led the team with a team-high 28 points despite fouling out in the game and
Rae Falatea ended the night with 13 points and added two big three-point shots for Westminster.
For the Rangers it was Erin Stroberg who led their team in scoring in the loss-making six shots and scoring 17 points.
