Colorado Springs, CO - On Saturday night the Westminster Griffins men's basketball team was up against one of the top 10 teams in the country and the Griffins stood tall and fought hard, but it was the top-ranked Moutain Lions who came away with the victory conference play 82-66 in Colorado. 

Donavil Avila led the Griffins in scoring dropping 18 points with five boards on the night as Trey Farrell had 13 points. 

 

UP NEXT 

The Griffins will be back at home next week as they will take on SAGU American Indian College on Wednesday night in Utah, with tip-off scheduled for 4:00 PM MT. The game will be broadcasted on the RMAC Network and the full upcoming schedule is on WestminsterGriffins.com
