Pueblo, Colo. - It was round two for the Griffins as they took on CSU-Pueblo on the road in their next stop in the RMAC Tournament, but despite a few late goals, the home team advances to the RMAC Championship as the Griffins were defeated 3-2.
It was a chance to advance to the Conference Championship as the Griffins had to head to Pueblo, Colorado to take on the top seeded RMAC team.
The ThunderWolves found a way to strike first to take the the early advantage, but a quick second half goal by
Luke Merrill to even the score one minute into the second half of play.
The Griffins battled tough as the game stayed tied at 1 until a goal by Caio Oliveria took the lead back in favor of the home team, but another late goal in the 74 minute but the Griffins down two.
Jace Vance put some hope back into the team with his third goal of the year which was assisted by
Jack Cardwell, but the time ran out on Westminster as they were defeated by one goal in the RMAC Tournament.
