Box Score Lakewood, CO - It was another game in the RMAC for the Women's Soccer team that led to another win as the Westminster Griffins took control on Sunday afternoon and never looked back as they were able to defeat
Colorado Christian University 2-0 to win their fourth straight win as they move up the conference standings.
It was a fast and furious start for the hungry Griffins team who came out with a
Cassidy Orr goal 56 seconds into the game and after that, it was the Griffins defense that played tough to help secure the scoreless first half of play.
The second half began and it was back-and-forth action with no scores and a bunch of shots by both teams until a late foul caused the Griffins an opportunely that
Shea Kealoha Kauanui cashed in on for a Penalty Kick goal to add the second goal of the game to finish off the win in 2-0 battle.
Kelsea Cracroft was the keeper in goal as she added another shut-out victory to her resume in 2022.
UP NEXT: Westminster returns home with a match-up with
New Mexico Highlands University on Friday night at 6:00 PM as the weather may be getting colder, the Griffins will look to continue their hot streak this weekend.
