Salt Lake City - The Westminster Griffins Women's Volleyball has been improving each time they step on the floor, and on Saturday night inside the Behnken Field House they once was were pesky and battling as they hosted UCCS, but despite capturing a set three victory, it was the Mountain Lions who left Salt Lake City with an RMAC win in four sets of play to defeat the Griffins.
It was Oliva Curtis leading the way on the offensive end with 15 kills on her end as
Malinda Messner was the other double-digit leader in kills with 12 of her own in the loss.
Alanna Lee and
Abby Reardon were both in the double-digit leaders on the defensive side of things for Westminster as the defensive pressure was great throughout the match.
UP NEXT: The Griffins will now hit the road one more time for a weekend as the season is near an end, but before it comes to an end next Friday Westminster will face off with Fort Lewis at 6:00 PM MDT and you can watch the game on the RMAC Network.
