Bellingham, WA - It was a weekend away in Washington, for the Westminster Griffins Women's Golf team as they finished their second tournament of the year The Westminster Griffins Women's Golf team moved up 2 spots on Tuesday and finished 7th at the Western Washington Invitational at Bellingham Country Club.
It was
Tuesday Epperson who ended the two-day event with a top-15 finish. The team played the last 6 holes one under par! The low team score of the year (310) in round 2.
Kyra Sponenburgh was the next closest Griffin who finished behind Epperson to help the Griffins have a strong finish on Tuesday in Washington as for a few other Griffins, we saw Katelyn Cook was the next top scorer for the Griffins as she finished tied for 34th, and
Halle Parkin and Lanna Chop were the other Griffins who finished the weekend for Westminster College on the leaderboard.
UP NEXT: The Griffins team will now turn their attention to a trip to Honolulu, HI for back-to-back tournaments starting on October 24 and it will be the first of two tournaments in the Aloha State.
