SALT LAKE CITY - Westminster (3-5) will officially begin the conference season this weekend as it heads to Colorado to take on
UCCS on Friday at 1:30 p.m., followed by a Sunday match at CSU Pueblo beginning at 2:30 p.m.
About the Griffins:
- Westminster has had seven different goal-scorers so far this season, with Cole
Kartchner adding his name to the last this past Sunday to lift the Griffins to a 2-1 road win at Fort Lewis.

Kaden Amano scored his first goal of the season by converting a penalty in Sunday's win over Fort Lewis.

Ian Rose returned to the Griffins lineup on Sunday and made several crucial second-half saves to preserve the one-goal advantage for Westminster. Rose finished with four saves on the afternoon and is now 2-1 on the season.
- After surrendering an early goal on a penalty, Westminster was able to earn its first come-from-behind victory on Sunday as
Kartchner's go-ahead strike came just three minutes after the Griffins' equalizer from
Amano.
- Westminster has out-shot opponents 98-90 so far this season with a .367 shots on goal percentage as a team.
About the Mountain Lions:
- The Mountain Lions recorded a 4-2-1 record through the non-conference portion of their schedule and will kick-off
RMAC action this week against Westminster and Colorado Mesa.

UCCS is tied for second in the
RMAC in scoring at 2.0 goals per game. The Mountain Lions lead the
RMAC with four made penalty kicks.
- Midfielder
Kolby Raineri leads the
RMAC with an average of 3.57 shots and 2.0 shots on goal per game while sitting tied for second in points with eight.
- Sophomore
Andreas Kokoska ranks second in the conference with 652 total minutes played and sits third with two shutouts on the season.
- Westminster is 9-12 all-time against
UCCS and has won the last three by a combined score of 8-3.
About the Thunderwolves:
- No. 19 CSU Pueblo made its way into the
USCA Top-25 after a 7-1 start to the season.
- The
Thunderwolves are on a three-match win streak after a 2-1 win over Colorado School of Mines and a 1-0 win in double overtime against Regis last weekend.
- CSU Pueblo has also seen offensive from across the lineup with seven different goal-scorers to start the season.

Vinzent Zingel (So., Aachen, Germany) leads the team in goals scored (4).
- Garret Wild (Jr., Brownsville, Tex.), one of three players to spend time in the
Thunderwolves' net, has built a 5-1-0 record including three shutouts so far this season.
