COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—
Courtney McCabe scored four goals to lead the Griffins in their season opener at UCCS. The Mountain Lions won the game, 20-11.

Eloise White each scored with assists from
Melissa Reeves on four.
Phebe Walker scored a second goal and McCabe completed a hat-trick on her way to her fourth goal in the second period.
Mikala Davis and
Hannah Bargeron split time in the goal. Davis made seven saves and Bargeron made 10.
Fraser,
Emmaline Russell and Bargeron each had three ground balls to lead the team. Russell caused three turnovers and
Jamie Francis led the team with four caused turnovers.
The Mountain Lions were led by Natalie Church, Kiera Lowe and Anagela Naughton with three goals each. Goalie Madison McGriff made 11 saves, Kathryn Kossack led with three ground balls and Holly Sodomka won nine draw controls to lead all players.
The Griffins play again on Saturday (Mar. 6) at 12:00 pm against Regis.
