NAMPA, Idaho - Westminster volleyball (4-18, 2-10 RMAC) suffered a 3-1 loss on the road at Northwest Nazerene (5-15, 2-9 GNAC) on Wednesday night at the Johnson Sports Center.

Maya Hamaoka tied for the team lead in kills and Jacox had a team-leading 19 assists but Westminster finished the match with a .084 attack percentage as a team.
Westminster bounced back from a 25-21 first-set loss with a 25-23 second-set victory to even the match at 1-1. Westminster led start to finish in the second set after a first set that saw seven lead changes with NNU pulling ahead late to win 25-21.
The Griffins had a 66 sideout percentage in both the first and second sets but dropped below 50 in the next two frames as NNU closed out the match with a 25-14 third set and a 25-13 fourth set in which Westminster was held to a .000 attack percentage.
Westminster will head home as it gets set to host another pair of RMAC contests this weekend. The Griffins will play Fort Lewis College on Friday at 6 p.m. before taking on Western Colorado on Saturday at 4 p.m.
