SALT LAKE CITY – Westminster men's basketball will hit the road for its final two road games of the regular season, facing Colorado Christian on Friday, Feb. 21, and Regis on Saturday, February 22.
The Griffins are coming off a pair of home victories and have won seven of their last nine, pushing their record to 16-9 overall and 11-8 in conference play. Westminster enters this weekend in sixth place in the RMAC standings.
Brandon Warr leads the Griffins in scoring and rebounds, averaging 15.8 points and 8.8 rebounds per game.
Jake Connor is adding 12 points per game, and
Jai Jai Ely is scoring 11.5 points per game on 48.5 percent shooting from beyond the arc.
Joonas Tahvanainen and
Alec Monson are averaging 11.3 points per game apiece.
Colorado Christian (4-21, 4-15 RMAC) has gone 3-3 in its last six games after starting conference play 1-12. The Cougars are led in scoring by Spencer Hoffman at 15.2 points per game.
Regis (14-11, 9-10 RMAC) lost both of its games last weekend. Christian Little leads the Rangers in scoring at 16.3 points per game.
