SALT LAKE CITY—The Westminster women's basketball team are on the road for their fifth game of the season. The Griffins play CSU-Pueblo on Friday, 12/18, at 7:30 pm.
The Griffins started the season 2-0 with home wins over MSU Denver and Colorado Christian at home. They suffered two narrow road losses to Chadron State and Black Hills State last weekend. Chadron (60-66) and Black Hills (70-75) overtook Westminster in the final minutes of each game.

GRIFFINS (2-2, 2-2 RMAC)
- Tied 10th in the RMAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.
- Fourth in the conference in defense, allowing 66.8 points per game, and 12th in offense, 66.3 points per game.
- Joey Andrews is third in the RMAC and leads the team in rebounding, averaging 10 per game. He leads the team in scoring with 13.5 points per game.
- Isaiah Banks and Jarrett Jordan are shooting over 50% from the field. Banks is shooting 51.4% and averaging 12.8 points per game. Jordan is shooting 59.1% from the field, leading the team, and averages 7.5 points per game.
- Reme Torbert averages 9.8 points per game and is second in rebounding with 4.3 boards per game.
THUNDERWOLVES (0-2, 0-2 RMAC)
- Ninth in the RMAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.
- Seventh in the conference in offense, averaging 71.5 points per game, and 13th in defense, allowing 83 point per game.
- Tre Brown is third in the RMAC and leads the team in scoring, averaging 20.5 points per game. Brown is shooting 51.9% from the field and is 78.6% from the stripe.
- David Simental averages 13.5 points per game, shooting 55.6% from the field. Lian Ramiro is third on the team with 10 points per game.
- Ramiro leads the team with 5.0 rebounds per game, all on the defensive end. Kristian Lafayette is a close second, averaging 4.5 rebounds.
