Box Score SALT LAKE CITY - Westminster men's basketball battled throughout the game, but ultimately came up short in a 74-70 loss to Regis on Saturday night at Behnken Field House. 

Alec Monson led the Griffins with 17 points in a game that featured 13 lead changes. Neither team held a double-digit lead. 

Monson added nine rebounds, three blocks and two steals to his stat line, and Joonas Tahvanainen posted a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds. Jai Jai Ely scored 12 points and dished out a game-high five assists. 

The Griffins return to action tomorrow night, hosting Colorado Christian at 7:30 p.m. The game will be streamed live on the RMAC Network.
