PUEBLO, Colo. – Westminster women's basketball improved to 4-0 in conference play, led by Hunter Krebs' 21 points and seven rebounds, with a 59-41 victory over Colorado State Pueblo on Friday night at Massari Arena.

The Griffins (9-1, 4-0 RMAC) were held to just six points in the first period, but exploded with a 22-6 run to take a 28-14 lead at halftime. Krebs scored 12 in the second quarter and Abby Mangum added six to lead the offensive surge.

Westminster maintained its lead, never allowing the Thunderwolves to get closer than nine points. Sarah McGinley scored all seven of her points in the second half to help preserve the victory.

Sydni Williams led CSU-Pueblo with 19 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks.

The Griffins head to New Mexico Highlands to take on the Cowgirls tomorrow night. The game will tip at 5:30 p.m. and will be streamed live on the RMAC Network.
