GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—The Westminster women's soccer team finished the regular season with a 0-0 draw at Colorado Mesa on Sunday.
Westminster out shot Mesa 6-1 in the first half but only one shot troubled the goalkeeper to make a save. The game evened out in the second half and both overtime periods.
Mesa's goalkeeper Kamrie Gunderson made three saves in the second half to keep the score level and force overtime.
Alexa Maple was denied in the 57
th minutes, then

Aimee Kurfurst in the 80
th.
Griffins' goalkeeper
Hillary Weixler made three saves in overtime to maintain the clean sheet. Weixler was saved an attempt in the opening minute of the first period and a second save in the 99
th minute. Weixler made her final save with game nearing an end with only 14 seconds left in the second overtime period.
The Griffins (9-3-4, 6-3-3 RMAC) will enter the RMAC Championships in fourth place and will face Regis (9-5-3, 7-4-2) in the quarter finals in Colorado Springs, Colo., at UCCS. In a new format for the RMAC Championships, first and second place teams from the regular season will host the quarterfinals and semifinals. UCCS finished first and Colorado Mines finished second
