Westminster women's volleyball (3-11, 0-46 RMAC) continues conference play with three matches this week – on Tuesday, October 8 at Dixie State, on Friday, October 11 at home against the Colorado School of Mines, and at home on Saturday, October 12 against UCCS. All three games will be streamed on the RMAC Network.

Scouting the Griffins
The Griffins have yet to win a conference match, but pushed Fort Lewis College to five sets last week. Westminster picked up its third win of the season in a non-conference match at home last Tuesday, beating Montana Western in straight sets. Audrey Green leads the attack, averaging 3.36 kills per set.

Scouting the Competition
Dixie State (9-5, 4-2 RMAC) split its two matches last week, losing to Adams State and beating Fort Lewis. The Trailblazers are led by To'a Faleao with 3.08 kills per set, and setter Megan Treanor is averaging 2.89 kills per set to go along with 141 assists, second on the team.

Colorado Mines (12-3, 5-2 RMAC) had its four-game winning streak snapped last Saturday, falling to South Dakota Mines. The Orediggers had two players receive conference weekly awards last week, Drew Stokes and Abby Tiesman claimed the RMAC Setter of the Week and RMAC Offensive Player of the Week awards.

UCCS (6-9, 4-3 RMAC) have lost two of three since starting RMAC play 3-1. The Mountain Lions have a very balanced attack with four players averaging over two kills per set.

Westminster Women's Volleyball at a Glance
The Griffins are coming off a 7-19 season in 2018 and have a new coach heading in 2019. Karrin Moore enters her first season with Westminster, coming from Pace University (NCAA Division II) in New York where she served as head coach for nine seasons.
