LAKEWOOD, Colo.--The Westminster men's soccer team got its offense jump started against The Colorado Christian Cougars. Midfielders combined to score all seven goals in the Griffins first Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) win of 2018.
Westminster scored three in the first half finished with a three-point lead. Freshman
Jake Jensen scored his first career goal in the 14th minute and got the Griffin offense started. Junior
Cristian Alfaro scored his first of the season in the 26th minute and was quickly followed Sophomore
Brody Nelson less than two minutes later.

Kaden Amano scored the first and the second goal of the second half. Alfaro scored his second goal in the 53rd minute and Senior
Alec Marshall completed the touchdown in the 54th minute. Freshman
Adir Hazout assisted twice, sophomore
Amit Hefer got an assist and Alfaro added an assist to his two goals.

Will Desantis had a quite night. Desantis only faced one shot on goal which he turned away to preserve the shutout, his first of the season and career.
The team returns to Dumke Field and hosts Regis, on Friday, and University of Colorado-Colorado Springs, on Saturday.
