FINAL GAMES AT ADMAS STATE AND FORT LEWIS

The women's basketball team defeated Regis, 63-55, completing the sweep over the Rangers this season.  The team improved to 13-7 in conference and 14-10 overall.  They will finish the season playing at Adams State on Thursday, and at Fort Lewis on Saturday.  Both games will be broadcast on the RMAC Network and available through live stats.
 
ABOUT THE GRIFFINS

The Griffins average 62.9 points per game and lead the conference shooting 42.9 percent from the field.  They are third in three-point shooting percentage, 33.2 percent, and seventh in free throw percentage, 73.7 percent.  The team makes 10.8 free throws and 5.4 three-pointers a game.

Denise Gonzalez is sixth in the conference in scoring and leads the team, averaging 14.9 points per game.  She ranks fifth shooting 41.8 percent from the field.  She leads the conference in steals and is second in assists, averaging 2.5 steals and 5.0 assists per game.

Hunter Krebs is seventh in the conference in scoring, averaging 14.9 points per game, and leads the conference in field goal percentage, shooting 59.4 percent from the field.  She is 82.8 percent from the free throw line, ranking fourth in the conference.

The Griffins are eighth in scoring defense, allowing 61.4 points per game.  They average 34.0 rebounds with -1.4 margin.  They average 7.6 steals per game, 2.4 blocked shots, and 14.3 points off turnovers.
 
Gonzalez and Krebs lead the team in rebounding, each with 125 rebounds.  Taylor Sydnee has collected 110 boards.

SCOUTING ADAMS STATE

• Adams State is 3-18 in the RMAC and 5-18 overall.
• The Griffins defeated the Grizzlies, 66-56, on Dec. 16.

SCOUTING FORT LEWIS

• Fort Lewis is 14-7 in the RMAC and 20-7 overall.
• Vivian Gray and Astrea Reed lead the Skyhawks in scoring.  Gray averages 18.5 points per game and Reed averages 13.9.
• Gray also leads the team in rebounds with 168, averaging 7.6 per game.  Kayla Herrera averages 4.7 rebounds per game, and Reed averages 4.3.
• The Griffins lost to the Skyhawks, 62-63, on Dec. 15.
