Last Time Out
The Griffins split last weekend, 1-1, losing to Western Oregon University, 72-81, and defeating Academy of Art, 56-50.  The team is 2-2 having played all the preseason games on the road.  Saturday will be the first home game for the men.

Westminster first played Dixie State in 2006 and has played them six times, the last meeting in 2011.  Westminster is 2-1 and at home and lead in the series 4-2.  A three-game win streak would be extended to four with a win over the Trailblazers.

• Brandon Warr leads the conference in rebounding with 42 rebounds in four games, averaging 10.5 per game.  Twenty-six of those rebounds have come on the defensive side and 16 on the offensive side.
• Alec Monson has recorded seven steals and is fifth in the conference.
• Two Griffins are top in minutes played.  Jai Jai Ely has logged 152 minutes, averaging 38.0 per game, and Jake Connor has 147 minutes, 36.8 per game.

• Brandon Warr leads the offense with 60 points.  He is shooting 44.2 percent from the field, 50 percent from three and 50 percent from the free throw line.
• Jake Connor is second on the team with 44 points.  He his 90 percent from the charity strip, 39 percent from three and 40.6 percent from the field.

Dixie State Trailblazers (2-1, 0-0 RMAC)
• DSU recorded both of their wins at home last weekend.  The lone loss came on the road to Cal Poly Ponoma, 66-72.
• Dixie has the fifth scoring defense in the conference allowing 70 points per game.
• Matt Conway leads the Trailblazers with 59, 22 rebounds and six blocks. In the RMAC, Conway is fourth in blocks, sixth in scoring, eighth in rebounding, and 10th in field goal percentage.
