St. George, UT – The Westminster Griffins volleyball team saw their season end on Friday, night as they were defeated by the Dixie State Trailblazers in three sets. The Griffins had 4 Aces in the three sets and had a total of 37.0 points in their final game of the 2018 season.
The first set was won by the Trailblazers in a 25-17, then set two and three the Griffins were able to score 19 points in each set, but it wasn't enough as Dixie State won both sets 25-19.
Audrey Green led the Griffins once again with 13 kills and added one Service Ace as the Freshmen Lydia Miler had five kills which was second behind Green. Aggie Roese-Olsen had 25 assists and had 10 digs for a double-double on the night.
It was a great season for the Westminster Griffins Volleyball team as they entered their first official year in the NCAA-II and we want to thank all the friends, family and fans for supporting the team all season long.
