Westminster Defeated At Fort Lewis

Durango CO – The Westminster Griffins Soccer team continued their four-game road trip with game number three at Dirks Field in a match against Fort Lewis College. The Skyhawks found a way to gain the early advantage with the lone goal of the game at the four-minute mark where Bar Hazut scored his sixth goal of the season as the Skyhawks defeated Westminster 1-0.

Westminster managed to get one shot on goal by Adir Haqout which one of their five shots in the game was, but 14 fouls called against the Griffins made it tough to get any more shots near the goal.

Max Medley played all 90 minutes where he had two saves in the loss.

Next up the Griffins travel to Colorado Mesa who sits at No. 12 in the rankings and near the top of the RMAC standings.
