Box Score HAYWARD, Ca – The Westminster men's soccer team lost 2-1 against Notre Dame DeNamur the first game of a two-game road trip in California.
 
Naia Graham of NDNU scored at 38:15 of the first-half, followed by a second score from Esteban Berumen off a follow up block by keeper on a penalty kick at 41:40.
 
The Griffins had a twelve to ten edge with shots with three of those on goal.  Brigham Jackson would get the Griffins on the board with his first goal of the season on an assist from Danny Darelli at the 77th minute.
 
Westminster returns to action Sunday as they take on California State East Bay in a 12:30 pm MST contest.  Live stats will be available.
