Griffins Host Weekend Tournament
The Westminster women's volleyball team will play four matches at home this weekend as they host the Westminster Invitational. The two-day round-robin tournament features Harding (Ark.) , Malone (Ohio), West Alabama, Western New Mexico and the host Griffins. Five matches will be played each day starting at 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m., 4 p.m., and 6 p.m.  All matches will take place in the Behnken Field House on the Westminster College campus.
 
All matches will be streamed live on the RMAC Network along with live stats available. Westminster plays West Alabama at 2 p.m. on Friday and then faces Western New Mexico at 6 p.m. On Saturday, the Griffins face Harding at 2 p.m. before closing the weekend against Malone at 6 p.m.

About the Griffins
The Griffins enter the weekend at 0-4 on the season after playing at the Concordia-Portland University Invitational in Oregon. The team dropped matches to Lubbock Christian (Tex), Concordia (Ore.), Western Oregon and Cal-Stat Dominguez Hills. 
 
Tournament History
Westminster will host an early season tournament for the eigth time in school history. The Griffins are 15-10 all-time at their own tournament and claimed the title in 2007 and 2012. This will be the first appearance at the Westminster tournament for three of the visiting teams.
 
Looking Ahead
The Griffins will open RMAC play next weekend with home matches vs. Colorado Mesa on Friday and Western State on Saturday.  Tickets available online or at the venue day of match.
