First Conference Road Trip
The Westminster women's volleyball team (4-6/1-1 RMAC) heads into the second week of conference play on the road to face Colorado Christian and Colorado Mines. Tonight the Griffins visit Colorado Christian (4-7/2-1 RMAC) sitting at 5th in the
RMAC standings after week one. The action gets underway at 7:00 p.m. from Lakewood, Colorado. Saturday Westminster heads to Golden, Colorado to face the conference leader Colorado Mines (9-3/3-0 RMAC) in a 5:00 p.m. match. Both matches can be viewed on the

The Week in Review
The Griffins bounced back after a Friday loss to Colorado Mesa by defeating Western State in RMAC play by a score of 3-0 (25-23, 25-20, 25-22).
Westminster totaled 34 kills hitting .147. and tallied 46 digs, 10 aces and nine blocks.
Amara Spere, Taylor Harvey, Audrey Green, Whitney Wakefield and Sydnee Simmons each contributed kills to the balanced scoring attack.
Taylor Gustafson provided 17 assists and
Emilie Austin set 11.
Megan Gallegos finished with 13 digs and
Audrey Green with seven.
Colorado Mesa (8-2 and 2-0) defeated the Griffins 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-19) in their conference home opener Friday evening. Westminster totaled 31 kills hitting .147, while the visitors from Grand Junction, Colorado scored 40 kills hitting .191. Westminster tallied 51 digs, two aces and six blocks in the defeat.
Audrey Green had 15 kills and eight digs and
Amara Spere added four kills.
Taylor Gustafson provided 16 assists and
Megan Gallegos finished with two service aces and 14 digs in the loss.
