Box Score PORTLAND, Oregon – Western Oregon defeated the Griffins 3-0 (25-15, 25-16, 25-21) in day two of the Concordia Labor Day Tournament. Westminster totaled 29 kills hitting .130, while the Wolves scored 44 kills hitting 2.72. Westminster tallied 37 digs, two aces and six blocks in the defeat.
Sydnee Simmons led the Griffins with 8 kills hitting .312,
Taylor Harvey and
Audrey Green had seven kills each and Green added nine digs to her stat count.
Emilie Austin and
Taylor Gustafson provided 13 and 12 assists apiece.
Westminster concludes the Concordia Labor Day Tournament tonight with a 6:00 p.m. MT match against Cal-State Dominguez Hills.
