Box Score SALT LAKE CITY – The Griffins bounced back after a Friday loss to defeat Western State in RMAC play by a score of  3-0 (25-23, 25-20, 25-22).

Westminster totaled 34 kills hitting .147. and tallied 46 digs, 10 aces and nine blocks.  Amara Spere, Taylor Harvey, Audrey Green, Whitney Wakefield and Sydnee Simmons each contributed kills to the balanced scoring attack.  Taylor Gustafson provided 17 assists and Emilie Austin set 11.  Megan Gallegos finished with 13 digs and Audrey Green with seven.

The Griffins stand at 4-6 overall and 1-1 in RMAC standings.  Next week Westminster heads out on their first conference road trip with matches Thursday and Saturday in the Denver area as they face Colorado Christian and Colorado Mines.
