Westminster Away for one Home for one
The Griffins face Dixie State on the road Friday and host Colorado Mesa this Sunday in the RMAC home opener.  The Griffins travel south to take on in-state foe Dixie State Friday in a 3:00 pm match up from St. George.  Fans can follow the action via live stats and video.  

The Grififns return home to host Colorado Mesa Sunday in the RMAC home opener at 2:30 pm from Dumke Field.  Tickets can be purchased in advance online or at the main spectator entrance one-hour prior to game time.  If you can't make the game you can watch live via the RMAC Network or live stats.  

Women's Soccer
The 2017 season is the 11th season of competition for the Westminster women's soccer program. The Griffins have gone 112-50-16 all-time and they have recorded seven straight seasons with at least 10 wins. The Griffins went 10-4-3 last season, its second competing in the RMAC and against a NCAA Division II schedule. During eight seasons in the NAIA, Westminster made three trips to the NAIA National Championships and won two Frontier Conference regular season titles.

Scouting the Opponents
Dixie State (3-1-0/0-0-0 PacWest) closed the road portion of its 2017 season last weekend with a split of two matches in Rohnert Park, Calif. The Trailblazers opened the trip with 1-0 loss at then-No. 18 Sonoma State and than defeated Southern Oregon Saturday 4-0.  Dixie leads the non-conference series 3-0.  Dixie State is scheduled to join the RMAC in 2018.  

With a recent win over Rollins College, Colorado Mesa improves to an overall record of 3-2 and was picked 6th in the RMAC Pre-Season coaches poll.  Last season, Westminster defeated Colorado Mesa 1-0 in Grand Junction.

 Looking Ahead
The Grifins take to the road in the second week of RMAC play as they travel to Colorado Springs for a Friday, September 22 contest vs. University of Colorado-Colorado Springs (UCCS), with the second leg of the trip taking them to Gunninson, Colorado for a Sunday 1:00 pm match up verse host Western State Colorado.
