The Westminster men's soccer team will play twice at home this week. They will host Colorado Mesa University on Wednesday and then welcome Colorado State University – Pueblo on Friday. Both games will be played at Dumke Field starting at 4 p.m.

ABOUT WESTMINSTERWestminster enters this week's action at 2-7-1 overall and the Griffins have gone 1-6-1 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference action. They currently sit tied for eighth in the conference with four points. The Griffins are 1-3-1 at Dumke Field this season.
The Griffins have scored seven goals this season and they average 0.70 goals per game to rank ninth in the RMAC. They are attempting 7.4 shots per outing with 43.2 percent of those shots on goal. The team has taken 33 corner kicks and been called offsides nine times.
Westminster opponents are taking 16.7 shots per game and putting 50.3 percent of them on frame. The Griffins have a 2.43 goals-against-average and they have made 59 saves with a .702 save percentage. Opponents have outscored the Griffins 14-5 in the second half or overtime and have tallied 23 assists.
Jonnathan Rodriguez leads the Griffins with three goals and six points. Rodriguez has tallied one game-winning-goals and has put five of his eight shot attempts on goal. Matthew Wearne and

Sean Lyne have alternated starts in goal all season. Lyne has posted a 2.0 goals-against-average and a 1-4 record with 26 saves and .703 save percentage. Ruff has made 32 saves to go 1-3-1. He has a 2.64 GAA and .696 save percentage.
SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION• Colorado Mesa – The Mavericks come to SLC at 8-3-1 overall this season and they are tied for third in the RMAC race with 15 points by going 5-2 in league games. They had a five-game winning streak snapped with a 1-0 loss at Colorado Mines on Oct. 11. CMU is scoring 1.92 goals per game while allowing 0.92. Roy Abergil leads the team with six goals and 12 points. Briley Guamen has a 0.76 goals-against-average and .837 save percentage.
Colorado Mesa is 3-0 all-time against the Griffins, including a 3-1 win in Grand Junction on Sept. 25. Wednesday will mark the team's first-ever meeting in Salt Lake City.
• CSU-Pueblo – The ThunderWolves begin the week at 6-6 overall this season and 2-4 in RMAC play. Their six points have them seventh in the conference standings. They snapped a three-game losing skid with a 4-1 win at Adams State on Oct. 11. CSU_Pueblo is scoring 1.92 goals per game while giving up 1.67 to the opposition. Matt Marchena leads the team and is third in the RMAC with seven goals. Sam Haseltine has a 1.59 GAA and .760 save percentage in goal.
CSU-Pueblo is 7-3-2 against the Griffins all-time. Westminster is 2-0 in games played in SLC. The teams haven't met since a 2-1 win by Pueblo in 2004.
