GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The Westminster women's volleyball team finished on the wrong end of a four set match at Great Falls (Mont.) on Saturday afternoon in a Frontier Conference match at the McLaughlin Center.

The 25-21, 17-25, 21-25, 22-25 loss drops Westminster to 10-15 overall and 4-8 in the Frontier Conference. Their third straight loss sees the Griffins fall to a tie for sixth-place in the conference standings with one week of play remaining.

The Griffins took the first set after racking up 13 kills and hitting .440 in the set. They were able to hang around in the next three sets despite finishing the match with 46 kills to the 52 recorded by Great Falls. The Argonauts (15-12, 6-7 Frontier) hit .300 in the match and held the Griffins to .221.

Alexis Aalona led Westminster with 12 kills on .216 hitting. The senior also recorded 13 digs to extend her streak of double-double to 10 straight matches.
Jessica Chellsen added 10 kills while
Megan Gallegos went for 17 digs and three service aces.

Gabby Bienkowski led UGF with 13 kills and .407 hitting. Cortney Shockey added 12 kills and Jacey Habets had 17 digs.

Westminster will close the regular season with a pair of home matches next week, beginning on Thursday against Lewis-Clark State (Idaho) and 7 p.m. MT in the Behnken Field House.
