Box Score LEWISTON, Idaho – The Westminster College women's volleyball team had its four-match winning streak snapped with a three-set loss at Lewis-Clark State (Idaho) on Thursday night.
Westminster falls to 15-13 overall and 9-6 in the Frontier Conference with the 23-25, 13-25, 26-28 loss. Lewis-Clark State moves to 17-12 overall and the clinch the third-seed for next week's conference tournament at 10-4.
Jovana Sisovic and
Alexis Aalona combined for 23 of the Griffins 36 kills in the match. Sisovic finished with a team-high 13 kills while hitting .407. Aalona hit .320 with her 10 kills.
Emily Atkinson had four service aces and
Kyndall Kordakis finished with 12 digs.
Nikura Toribio led LCSC with 20 kills and she hit .621 in the three sets. The Warriors hit .314 as a team and they racked up 56 digs.
The Griffins will close out the regular season and look to clinch the No. 4 seed at the conference tournament on Saturday when they visit Montana Tech at 2 p.m. MST.
