Box Score HELENA, Mont. – The Westminster College women's volleyball team suffered a four-set loss at Carroll (Mont.) on Thursday night in Frontier Conference play.

Westminster falls to 13-12 overall and 6-8 in Frontier matches with the 23-25, 25-23, 19-25, 17-25 loss. Carroll improves to 20-9 and 10-5.

The Griffins finished the match with 55 kills, but couldn't overcome 37 hitting errors to finish at 0.97 hitting on the evening. They hit .143 and .133 in the first and third sets respectively and went .103 and .019 in the second and fourth sets. Westminster did recorded three service aces and 93 digs despite the .231 hitting by Carroll.

Ashley Marchant led three Griffins in double figures in kills with 13. The senior also added 15 kills and one service ace in the match. Kenzie Mitchell recorded 11 kills and Alexis Aalona came up with 10 kills. Emily Atkinson finished with 45 assists and 20 digs. Kyndall Kordakis added 31 digs to move into second place all-time at Westminster with 1,241 in her career.

Calli Prestwood led Carroll with 12 kills and finished the night hitting .476. Rebecca Sweeney added nine kills with Catie Hanser posting 21 digs.

Westminster will complete the regular season on Saturday when they host Montana Tech at 2 p.m. in the Behnken Field House. It will be Senior Day as Marchant and Stephanie Jones Morin will play the final home matches of their careers that day.
