Box Score GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The Westminster College women's soccer team snapped a two-game slide behind two Corie Walch goals as they defeated Great Falls 2-0 on Sunday afternoon at Siebel Park.

Walch struck first in the 70th minute and then again in the 88th minute to hold the Griffins improve their overall record to 9-6-1 and 4-2 in conference play.  The match was scoreless through the first half and a terrific display of defensive prowess by both teams. The second half two unassisted goals were all Westminster needed to put away the Argonauts.

The Argos fall to 4-9-1 overall and 0-4 in conference.

The two goals by Walch give her four on the year and 11 in her career at Westminster.  She also posted her second game-winning strike of the season.  Dayna Winter-Nolte recorded her fifth shutout of the year while claiming her ninth win.

Westminster will begin the season-ending two-game road trip on Friday in San Marcos, Calif. with a game against Cal State San Marcos.
