SALT LAKE CITY – The Westminster College women's volleyball team recorded a second consecutive 3-0 sweep on Saturday with a 25-19, 25-16, 25-18 win over Montana Western in the Behnken Field House.

Westminster (9-13, 6-5 Frontier) recorded 43 kills in the match while hitting .245.  The Griffins committed just 16 hitting errors all afternoon and also picked up seven service aces.  They also recorded 41 digs and three blocks.

Alexis Aalona led the Westminster attack with a career high 11 kills.  The freshman hit a career-best .375 and recorded her second career double-double by matching a career high with 11 digs.  Kenzie Mitchell added nine kills with a .421 hitting efficiency and two blocks.  Stephanie Jones Morin hit .44 with nine kills.  Emily Atkinson had 34 assists, seven digs and three service aces.

Susanne Rehse led Western (6-16, 1-10) with nine kills and a .421 hitting efficiency.  The Bulldogs recorded seven blocks and popped up 45 digs.

Westminster will now hit the road for the final time of the regular season when they open a two-game road swing on Friday at Montana State-Northern in Havre, Mont.
