Box Score GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The Westminster men's basketball team claimed a 24th consecutive win over Great Falls thanks to a 55-42 road victory on Friday night. No. 10 Westminster has now won four straight overall and 14-of-15 to improve to 17-5 overall and 7-1 in the Frontier Conference.
The Griffins shot 46.7% from the floor and went 11-of-12 from the foul line in the road victory. The finished with 13 assists on 21 field goals and had only 10 turnovers. Defensively Westminster limited Great Falls to 38.1% shooting and forced 18 turnovers.
Ben Walker led all scorers with 17 points on a 7-of-10 shooting night. In 31 minutes, Walker added three rebounds, three assists, one block, and one steal.
Weston Anderson added 14 points and two assists.
Michael Stockton scored eight points and grabbed a team-high seven rebounds off the bench.
LJ Jones and Lukas Hambsch finished with 10 points apiece to lead the Argos. Great Falls held a 28-22 advantage on the boards and held the Griffins to just 2-of-13 from beyond the arc.
Westminster completes this road swing with a trip to Havre, Montana to face Montana State-Northern on Saturday, February 6. Tipoff from the Armory Gymnasium is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.
