Westminster pushed the visitors to a deciding set for the second time in as many meetings this season. The loss if the fourth straight for the griffins and drops them to 8-10 on the season and 4-5 in the Frontier Conference.

Carroll (17-8, 6-3) took the opening set 25-20 and limited the Griffins to just .143 hitting. Carroll forced a fifth set by overcoming four ties and two lead changes en route to the 25-20 victory.

At that point the Saints scored five straight points to take control of the set and the match.
