LEWISTON, Idaho – The Westminster women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision at No. 11 Lewis-Clark State on Friday night. LCSC used a strong serving night to take the 25-19, 25-21, 25-22 and drop the Griffins to 6-11 on the season and 3-2 in the Frontier Conference.
Friday's contest was a tight one with several long rallied and neither team able to put runs together. LCSC, however, was able to keep the Griffins on their heels with its serving. Westminster actually outhit the Warriors at .153 to .125 and also outblocked LCSC 9-4. But Westminster didn't have a service ace, had seven service errors, and gave up eight service aces to the Warriors.

Talita Kresser led Westminster with 15 kills and 10 digs, while
Megan Evans had 17 assists and 10 digs. The Griffins racked up 76 digs in the match, led by 29 from libero
Tahnie Blymiller.
Westminster returns to action on Thursday, October 1 when they open a weekend road trip against Carroll College. First serve from the Carroll PE Center in Helena, Montana is schedule for 7:00 p.m.
