GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - The Westminster Griffins allowed three first half goals to Colorado State-Pueblo on Sunday afternoon and couldn't recover. CSU-Pueblo scored in the 14th and 15th minutes to build a 2-0 lead, then added one more in the 32nd minute for a 3-0 win. With the loss, Westminster falls to 6-4-2 on the season.

The Griffins held a 13-10 advantage in shots and six of those found the frame. Westminster also took three corner kicks to zero by the opposition. Val Campbell allowed all three goals before being replaced by KC John. John made three saves and didn't allow a goal during his 56 minutes.

Westminster returns to Colorado on October 10 when they face Nebraska Wesleyan in Colorado Springs. They will also face Colorado College on October 12.
