Box Score SALT LAKE CITY - The Westminster Griffins gave a solid effort, but it wasn't enough as they dropped Friday night's match with 12th-ranked Lewis-Clark State in three sets. L-C State won the match 25-15, 25-16, 25-22 and dropped the Griffins to 3-9 on the season and 3-2 in the Frontier Conference.
Janele Kendall had a nice night for the Griffins. She finished with 10 kills, eight digs, two blocks, and led the team with 12.5 points. Ali Culp recorded 10.5 points behind her seven kills and 12 digs.
Whitney Adams also racked up 12 digs for the Griffins.
Kris Cochran provided a nice spark off the Westminster bench with her four kills and four blocks, both career highs.
Westminster is now off until Thursday, October 2 when they host Rocky Mountain College in the Behnken Field House.
