Box Score SAN MARCOS, Calif. - It was a tough afternoon for the Westminster Griffins on Sunday as they dropped a 3-0 decision to ninth-ranked Cal State-San Marcos. San Marcos outshot Westminster 12-2 in the game and dropped the Griffins to 5-5-0 on the season.

Only Jen Pirente and Elaina Pappas even registered a shot on the afternoon. All three goals for the Cougars were scored by Katelyn Krauss, including two during a two minute stretch in the 67th and 69th minutes. Dayna Winter-Nolte made three saves for Westminster.

The Griffins will continue a four match road swing when they face Southern Oregon on Friday, September 26 in Ashland, Oregon.
