Box Score SALT LAKE CITY - The Westminster Griffins won the first set over third-ranked Concordia (Calif.) before dropping the next three and the match. Concordia used a strong offensive attack to come away with the 27-29, 25-7, 25-12, 25-17 win, recording 57 kills to just 33 from the Griffins. With the loss, Westminster falls to 0-3 on the season.
Janelle Kendall led all Griffins with her 10 kills, a season high.
Ericka Evans had seven kills while Ali Culp and
Brittani Barton each had six. Culp recorded her second 13-dig match of the season to lead the team in digs.
Katie McLintock tallied 10 dig as well.
Westminster returns to action on August 29 when they face Vanguard in Irvine, California.
